July 20 After "Forest Gump"It was years ago that I enjoyed this movie for the first time. Just like good books are to be chewed and digested, good films are worth of appreciating time after time. Obliviously, Forest Gump is one of those.
Gump did have some problems with his intelligence, but he was absolutely not an idiot, never ever. Instead, those who took him as a fool were usually fools themselves. Whatever, it’s just such a “fool’ that keeps touching me from the beginning to the end of the film.
“I’ll never hurt you.” It sounds like a mission impossible for a man, but Gump made it. As he often said, a promise is a promise, exactly. Thanks to him, I learn one thing: make as few promises as possible.
“If there is anything you need I will not be far away.” Plain words, splendid love.
“Just like that, she was gone.” Life is harsh, and what’s more harsh is love.
“You got to go when you got to go.” Sometimes, to be direct can avoid making simple things complex.
‘You have got to put the past behind you before you can move on.” Pitifully, it’s always easier said then done.
“Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're gonna get.” The more you experience, the more you appreciate it.
“I’m a bit tired. I think I’ll go home.” After running for three years two months thirteen days and sixteen hours, Gump said this and left his followers alone. Whatever we meet with, wherever we are, home is where heart is. And I always believe, mother’s soup is the best medicine in the world to kill any pain. July 10 四年一轮回的闹剧落幕了 留下来的,除了欧文的遗憾,便只有一个感慨:
